By HYLA North America
Dust builds up on high ceilings, shelves and other elevated surfaces, then can fall onto you, your furniture and floors. Cleaning these areas periodically helps remove that buildup. Reaching them can be difficult, but HYLA EST makes the job easier. Here’s how.
What You Need to Clean High Ceilings
Regular dusting can move dust around instead of collecting it. HYLA pulls dust and loose debris into the system and captures it in water as you clean.
Running HYLA EST regularly as an air cleaner also washes dust and other household particles from the incoming air before much of that material has a chance to settle. Using HYLA on floors, furniture and other surfaces collects the dust that has already settled throughout the home.
To clean high areas, you need three parts:
Flexible hose + hard tubes + cleaning attachment
Connect the Hard Tubes for Extra Reach
The HYLA EST standard attachment set includes two Hard Non-Electric Tubes.
For higher areas, connect two additional compatible tubes from the Ventus setup. Together, four connected tubes create one extra-long cleaning setup.
Choose the Attachment for the Surface
Match the attachment to the area you are cleaning.
Crevice Tool
The Crevice Tool is useful for ceiling edges, upper corners and other narrow areas where its shape can direct HYLA’s airflow.
HYLA Duster Set
The HYLA Duster Set is better suited for broader elevated surfaces such as tall shelving, cabinet tops and blinds.
The cleaning cloth loosens the dust so HYLA’s airflow can collect it.
Upper walls and wall trim can also be cleaned as part of the same high-surface routine.
A Fresh Approach To Everyday Cleaning.
Make the Setup Easier to Control
Work in small sections and guide the attachment slowly along each edge or surface. This makes the longer tube setup easier to control and helps you finish one area before moving to the next.
For larger rooms or areas with furniture and other obstacles, you can choose the Flexible Non-Electric Hose – EST in the 20 FT option. The extra hose length gives you more room to move around furniture or work across the room without moving the HYLA unit as often.
Clean High Areas from the Top Down
Begin with the highest areas, then work your way down through shelves, furniture and floors. Because dust from higher areas can fall onto the surfaces below, cleaning the furniture and floors afterward helps you avoid cleaning them twice.
Frequently Asked Questions
What provides the height when cleaning high ceilings with HYLA EST?
The connected Hard Non-Electric Tubes provide the height. The flexible hose connects the tubes to the HYLA EST and allows you to move and guide the attachment.
Can four HYLA tubes be connected for additional reach?
Yes. Two standard hard tubes can be connected with two additional compatible tubes from the Ventus setup to create an extra-long reach for high ceilings and elevated surfaces.
Does HYLA EST offer attachments for other cleaning jobs?
Yes. HYLA EST’s standard attachments support cleaning throughout the home, and optional attachments are available for more specialized cleaning jobs.
Which attachment should I use for tall shelves and cabinet tops?
The HYLA Duster Set is useful for broad elevated surfaces. Its cleaning cloth loosens dust while HYLA’s airflow draws the released material into the system.
Should I clean high surfaces before cleaning the floor?
Yes. Cleaning from the top down allows you to work through the room in a natural order, from the highest areas to the furniture and floors.
